hear her speak and why Kasumi goes out of her way to avoid Fumika so that the listener isn’t clued in on Kasumi’s death? (Forgetting the literary term here, unreliable protagonist perhaps?) The male protagonist is just a fucking schizo and we’re following his delusions?
I’m fucking stupid and should’ve paid better attention. Misaki says “女の子は女の子だけどもう死んでだから大丈夫” Referring to herself. Not sure why she gives herself a time limit b/c she’s like she won’t be here next year. Fucking hell. Is she some fucking apparition Anohana-style or is our man’s just a schizo and needs to take his meds? I’m not sure if it makes it better or worse that the female protagonist is dead before the beginning of the story.
I’m not sure if track 1 of extra is supposed to be hopeful. Apparently he’s still in love with his junior high crush but he still made the effort to reach out to Fumika. I guess a bit hopeful that maybe he’ll be able to love again but then again he knows that she likes him. Fumika is happy. Hopefully our MC also becomes happy with Fumika. I would’ve liked maybe at least one H scene with her (maybe the masturbation part could’ve just been omitted) and they actually show him being happy which shows that he’s been able to fulfill Kasumi’s wish of him finding happiness. Then again if I were Fumika I’d be worried if I was being chosen because of desperation or if it was because I was No. 2. No one deserves to be someone’s second choice and esp. not Fumika. Or maybe it’s okay. Idk.
I’d appreciate it if someone could summarize what the person is saying in the last track of extra. I can’t understand it that well but I think the gist was that Misaki was involved in an accident during junior high and died and that there were accounts/stories of people wishing for their loved ones to come back but they came back as spirits and they were still able to physically connect? Alluding to our protagonist’s situation. Completely lost on the Momotaro metaphor. Anyways, this is probably my last comment while I feel like shit for the next 72 hours. Feel free to recommend me some wholesome shit.

And if you notice the end, ignore the Momotaro thing, after that she said there a saying that the village bring back the dead once every year, the girl/boy will come visit their love one, live with them, connect with their love one, bla bla bla basically the whole thing we listened to.
