To give a final answer/explanation, both are voiced by Kotone Akatsuki, a voice which can be found in A LOT of asmr audios (there is a tag for you to look at how many videos she made).
So, even though I don’t know a lot about vtubers and was recently surprised that even Aino Mimori has a public channel, I highly doubt that 1) Houshou Marine and ShizuRin are the same person 2) Kotone Akatsuki is a vtuber (she makes far too much asmr to have the time for that)
Since Kotone Akatsuki is well-known by the users of this site (as i said, her audios are uploaded too frequently not to know her) and you recognized her as 2 different vtubers who you already know are not the same, I think you can now understand why you were treated as ignorant (because you have shown you were) both in asmr culture (though i won’t blame you for that) and proper identity recognition (japanese voice recognition is a skill which can be developped by watching enough anime and vtuber videos).
