I think I made some fortuitous discovery today. Let me share it with you. Youtube put in my recommandations a review video about Mirai Nikki. I don’t know why, I watched it. Wondering about the fate of those voice actors and actresses, I went on MAL to see if they dubbed some other anime. I now know that Mirai Nikki MC voice actress also dubbed other anime that I watched but had no idea they had the same VA. Since Yuno’s VA did not voice a lot of anime, my next step was to see if she dubbed visual novels. And she did. One particular visual novel she dubbed is called “Tropical Lover”. Do you who else dubbed it? Konrinya 【今理名】. And Konrinya 【今理名】 is a pseudonym of Gasai Yuno’s VA. That’s right. Gasai Yuno’s VA and Konrinya 【今理名】 are the same person. Who would have thought? Frankly,; I tried to listen again to her ASMR works but now that I think that they are the same person, I don’t know if they really are the same person or if I am imagining it.

I absolutely love this one for a few reasons. The problem I have with Whisp is that the SFX do not increase linearly (I like rhythm). Here, it is somewhat justified by the fact that they must be stealthy. And the muffled moans… Damn she nailed it… It seems she retired tho, what a shame… I wonder what she’s become…
